You also called for rawr taking gold.
Failure predictions!
-edit-
More complete analysis:
We went 6-0 in swiss mainly because of our opponents. StP had a great chance to give us an early loss but forfeitted that playing SB/RI, but other than that we didn't really play any "known" guilds. We faced DM in the 6th round but it was one of those "We both make it to top16 so let's mess around" kind of games.
In the single-elim we simply got outplayed on Wurms.
They anticipated our build and playstyle accurately (though it's not too hard lol) and just played to counter the way we tackle that map 100% of the time.

lol what a random mat
my predictions were epic fail, only had 2 guilds on top 8 (sup sts). funny thing is that i wanted to vote sup #1, but then someone from sup came to our vent and said that they switched monks and the main ranger left so they are gonna fail this monthly, so I voted them #4 in the end. Fail.

How can you tell if a guild is more 'deserving' than another? Just because their favourites to they should automatically get top 8?
People say KMD/rawr/WWF all should of got top 8 but KMD lost to AA who they also lost to earlier in swiss rounds, rawr got raped by sup in the first round as well and WWF got beat by vE. Only Vent Rage got really easy pairings and made top 4 because of it.
Alot of peoples issues are with the tournament system and tie breakers but without every guild having to play each other this is one of the most fair ways of judging who should place where. Also mAT's are all about the luck of the draw.
Oh and I have won silver cape so please dont try that.

Thats my point none of these other guilds deserved it more unless they lost because of errors but then thats just internet for you.
And yea tie breaker can suck but its the best system available.

The swiss match vs AA they definitely deserved to win, we played pretty shitty.
The single elim match however I think we would have won if our ele wouldn't have dropped at 26min, we definitely had done more damage to their lord then they did to ours at that point.
Oh well, shit happens.
Disconnects cost us roughly 90 rating yesterday
I'm glad sup won though, DM with gold would have been too much to bear.

with who lol
just look at the top 4 this month only one of the guilds in there actually deserved to be there aa and vr got rofl stomped in the semis and dm got roflstomped in the finals , there were a ton of guilds that made it to the top 16 that just got there because of easy match ups

i wouldnt consider that a rofl stomping to vR by sup, but DM i would have to agree.

Yeah and they weren't even running some virtual gimmick. Although the KMD match was typical tiebreaker stupidity, StS was owned hard. None of the typical favorites were playing as well as rawr and sup continued to, so the "newbies" filled the void and earned their places.

It's 4 rounds of single elim, and they beat the two "established" teams while losing to DM in the semis. Who else are they supposed to face? WWF who can't beat SB on wurms? Rawr who hit sup in playoffs?
You can say they "lucksacked" into the top 16, but you can't deny they played well once there.

pretty sure he can deny whatever he wants. does not necessarily mean he is correct, but he can deny it.

Watch I get 20-50 RPs this month and my guildies who are mainly PvE players, who choose based on QP will get 100+. I don't know how that I can listen to you guys and lose but they rely on QP and win everything lolol. Oh well at least I had sup and StS on there. So grats to sup I guess.

Just to make myself clear, I'm not saying AA didn't deserve to make it as far as they did, just saying they kinda lucked out vs us in single elim.
That being said though, half of the top 16 seemed to be random shitters running sbri..

It was a great comeback from a bad monthly before.
Problem is that American AT's don't go to Mediation, which is why it was such a disaster for us.

You guys have choked up so many times going for gold, don't you think the opportunity should be given to someone else?
